Contact Lenses have been in the market for a very long time, but coloured contact lenses, or moreso circle lenses, have been back into fashion ever since the surge of ‘Ulzzangs’ in the early 2000’s.
짱 (jjang): Korean slang that means “best.” Ulzzang means “best face” in Korean and the word is used both online and in real life. Basically, an ulzzang is someone who has a very attractive face, but most people use the term to describe people who have become popular for their looks. – quote: soompi forums.
As her end of year prom drew near, my little cousin really didn’t want to wear glasses with her beautiful dress. She therefore started to pay and wear daily contacts in hope that on that special day she’ll look pretty. (As all girls do) However she not only just wanted contacts, she wanted circle lenses to enhance her eyes and make them bigger. (The doll like effect)
She therefore started her search for some circle lenses on the internet, that was after making me the Guinea Pig and making me buy some from the Tokyo Toys shop in Trocadero, London. After a lot of internet surfing and then coming to me to borrow my debit card I referred her to the site, Geo Coloured Lenses, which I knew a friend had recently bought some circle lenses from and found them really good. They were doing an offer at this point where it was free international delivery if you bought 2 pairs of contacts. So I got a pair too in Purple, my favourite colour and had go at making my eyes big! Check out some of the photos below…
Speaking of purple I’ve dyed my hair recently to the colour Cyber Purple from Schwarzkopf. It came out red at first but after a few washes the colour has settled over my Jet Black hair and there is subtle hints of the colour purple under the light. I’m a very happy girl. (•υ•)
