Tomorrow will be the 25th birthday of Tina, a good ol’ secondary school friend of mine :) Hope tomorrow’s day at college will be a blast and that she enjoys it as much as today!
We were offered a parade of food, from Pumpkin soup to bread with cheese and ham to a selection of lovely cupcakes hand-baked by her sister (also my friend) Kiri.
There were 3 different flavours:
- Chocolate with Orange
- Cherry, Almond and Marzipan
- Strawberry Cheesecake
They were all so lovely and tasty but rather fattening, thus we all left to go to the park for some childhood fun! :D The rocking horse well Kiri believed it was some sort of chipmunk rather than rabbit… I dunno but being the adults we were, we were able to rock the wooden ride back-and-forth touching the floor on both sides xD
[slideshow id=8 w=550 h=450]We also went on the swings where Mark taught us “Extreme Swinging”. This is when you’ve gained a large amount of momentum and once you’re at the peak, lean backwards until the world is upside down (due to your head tilting back) so when gravity is pulling you back the force will give you slight head rush. Fun till your head gets dizzy. Mark then asks us how many times could we do “extreme swinging” consecutively till we throw up. Craig didn’t like the feeling, full stop. lol.
All in all it was a lovely day, cold but nice nonetheless. Good ol’ social times! :D
