This evening I made a shoebox that contained a variety of gifts for the Samaritan’s Purse charity. This is children’s Christmas project where gift-filled shoeboxes are sent to disadvantaged children across Eastern Europe, Africa and Central Asia. It’s such a good cause! I’ve been gifting these gift-filled shoeboxes for a while during my Junior/Secondary School years but had stopped once I went to uni. Since my aunt was talking about it so much lately and went shopping with mum and me today, it made me want to fill a shoebox too so I went ahead a bought a whole load of pens, books, stickers and a cuddly toy (it’s sooooo soft!) Once I stuffed it all in, it felt heavy and the lid almost didn’t close… I took some photos of my progress while wrapping my shoebox.

If you want to gift a shoebox filled with presents, just head to the following website to donate online! You can either fill your own shoebox, else use their Shoebox World service to make one for you for only £11. Go donate now :)
