I bought a large collection from the Skinfood range, a Korean brand. This included eye creams, emulsion creams and bb creams.
I’ve been using the range for a couple of months now and feel that you skin is soft and supple plus the peach sake really minimises my pores.
Peach Sake Emulsion
This comes in a really lovely frosted bottle with a cardboard looking screw lid. The style of the bottle looks oriental with and adorable pink packaging. The emulsion is a semi-thick cream that boasts to help regulate sebum and minimise excessive oils. The product does what it says on the tin and I find that it has minimised my pores and that my skin does not look oily in the afternoons. It would have a dewy look but not overly shiny. I found the contents slightly hard to empty into my hand at first but after shaking it a little, find it is rather easy (reminds me of emptying ketchup…) It is very light, easily glides into my skin and smells divine.
Black Raspberry Eye Cream
This eye cream comes in a very cute mini glass jar with a cardboard looking screw lid and a Japanese style paper wrap on top. The reddish colours compliment the colour of the cream itself and looks adorable.
The cream is supposed to reduce wrinkles and help hydrate your under-eye area.
I found the cream to really hydrate my eyes when I wake up in the morning after applying it before bed. The area is soft and my eyes don’t water to compensate for the lack of moisture. I’m unsure if the anti-wrinkle effect works since I don’t have crows-feet so I’m unable to comment on that.
The cream also has a grassy scent so it may not appeal to everyone but since its not around the nose area and you would only need a small amount on your finger tips I don’t think it’s a big deal.
I also have a few more items from the SkinFood range which I’ve stocked to sell. So stay tuned for some bargains!
