Go Karting and Frolicking in London for Sue’s Birthday

Sue’s birthday party was last weekend and she planned a full day of events. We firstly went Go Karting at GoSport in North Greenwich in the morning; we were all so tired and I almost missed it because I didn’t hear my alarm! It was so much fun although many of us came back with bruises, cuts and pains… It was somewhat a mini warzone on the racetrack.

We then went to Dim T in Holborn afterwards for some light Asian lunch and dim sum. The portions here were alright and nice food. We all enjoyed it and were pretty much full after our meal.

The arcade was up next, so we walked to Las Vegas in Soho to play on the Pump-It-Up machines, Bishi Bashi, Pool and racing games. I managed to complete Bishi Bashi with another 4 friends (they had to tag in when they were out) but upon the cut scene, which I’ve never had the chance to see before,my friend skipped it! Nuuuu. I tried so hard and he just skips it… -.- (Aaron, I dun lyke u nao. Lol)

We then mooched towards Madd, a mango cafe that also has many board games and computer consoles on each table for groups to enjoy and have fun. It was a really nice little cafe hidden in Soho but management needed some work. Police was constantly inside so maybe there was some theft? I’m unsure.

Once it hit 6:30, we started heading out. 1) because the table we sat in was booked and 2) the birthday dinner was booked for 7 at a Korean restaurant. However I didn’t go to the dinner to save money, although I would have loved to! The place sounded amazing! She had her own private rooms with cloakroom and lovely food. I went with two other friends to Chinatown to buy some ingredients and made myself a beef curry ^^

One of them also took me to buy a chicken bun from a store vendor on the street and it was sooooo nice! I gobbled down the warm juicy bun. (I’ll take a photo of the vendor when I next visit!)

Till next time,
Kekidoll xoxo

I’ve never been Go-karting before but it looks like so much fun! I think I’d be terrified of people bumping into me and crashing haha.

I love arcades. I always end up spending way too much money though and regretting it. It’s so fun though. I like top play air hockey, pool and go on the dance mats whenever I go. We also have a basketball game at the arcade near me, but I’m rubbish at it haha.

Glad you had a fun time!

Go Karting sounds like an awesome way to celebrate a birthday! I haven’t done in a long time. The last time I went, work treated us to it, and it was pretty fun.

The food in your photos look tasty too :) I’ve never seen a fortune roll before. That’s creative!

That’s cool that there’s a cafe with board games and consoles to play. I don’t know if we have any like that here. That sounds like a nice place to just hang out and spend time.

That’s too bad that you didn’t go to the Korean restaurant, but curry is yummy too!

  • The food looks wonderfully delicious. YUM! Looks like you had fun this day but I do remember the go karts. I ended up breaking my uncle’s phone because I rammed into him so many times(by accident I swear). It was a wonderful experience and I would do it again. Anyhow, glad you had a great time!
