Coffee with a piece of cake. Mmm

A friend of mine introduced me to a company that sells coffee beans online called Pact. If you’re a coffee addict you’ll love this company. They pick some really interesting roasts that contain wonderful flavours induced in each bean.

Ordering from their site was as simple as 1-2-3. Select how you prepare your coffee, how often you like to drink coffee and the flavour you would like to try!

Yes i was cold, hence needed a hot drink

The beans shipped almost instantly, I got an email telling me exactly what was happening with my order giving me a warm feeling that real people are behind this business – a lot of this personal feeling is lost in big corporates. They arrived through the door and on my office desk within the next working day :)

Stir, stir, stir

I have to confess, I’ve never made a cup of coffee with a cafetiere before. So this was a new experience for me! For those who don’t know how it’s done – scoop about 2 heaps of coffee powder into the cafetiere, add in sugar (cos I like it to dissolve in the hot coffee), then pour in hot water till the top of the glass and stir. When you place the lid back on, the metal sieve should just be sitting on surface of the water.

Wait about 2-3 minutes for the coffee to brew and then pour it out into your favourite mug! Add a splash of milk or whatever takes your fancy and enjoy :)

Ta Daaaah!

The flavour I chose was Passeio Natural. It had hints of chocolate, citrus sweetness and wasn’t bitter at all! I only needed a teaspoon of sugar rather than my usual two and a half.
There are currently 4 flavours of beans to try!

  • does it come in K-Cups? because i love my keurig :)

    • Unfortunately not. They only come in beans or grounded for filter, cafetieres, some coffee machines. You can always write to the company and suggest they do a collaboration!

  • Your instructions would be very useful to me :)
    Love to try different coffees!

  • Mmm I love coffee. Although, I tend not to like the flavored kind, so I’d probably just end up trying the original taste. Btw, you look so adorable in those pictures! I love it. :)

    • I’m not a big coffee fan either, I’m more a tea drinker, but I do like coffee flavours that have hints of sweet foods in them :D

      Thanks for your compliment ^^
