Face lifting Face Masks

When I was on holiday I stocked up on some face masks. These particular ones were Sasatinne branded from the beauty store SaSa.

Sasatinne Face Masks

They are different to the ones you normally get in England as they are a thin sheet with handles for the ears. Not only do they have handles to hold the facial mask upright but it also has a second set that helps lift up the chin.

The mask states that they help firm the skin and lift it back up. I also bought the version that helps with acne and blemishes.

I look like a ghost wearing the mask

When applied, it feels very cool and refreshing. Although the mask pulls on my ears it doesn’t feel to uncomfortable.

After application I rub and excess residue on my skin and it makes my skin feel smoother. Then I’ll head to sleep and wake up the next morning with super soft hydrated skin!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post!

Do you use face masks too? Would you try this particular one?

Collagen Eye Masks

I had bought a couple of different eye masks off eBay to test as I was starting to get tired looking eyes. They would usually feel dry and itchy in the morning and needed moisture added back.

image
It came in resealable packets!

This brand was new to me as I haven’t tried them before; I normally use the jelly looking collagen eye masks. These were cotton pads soaked in the formula and you would need to remove two each time from the sealed packet. This was a rather fiddly process and hard to place any spare sheets back into the packet.

After applying them under my eyes I felt a refreshed feeling which then turned into a taut sensation. I felt that the skin under my eye was being pulled back into place and not sag. There is no noticeable whitening effect to the dark circles instantly and this may take a few more masks before it takes effect. My skin felt moisturised but I would apply my Skinfood Black Raspberry Eye Cream to give it more moisture and help with its anti-aging effects.

Sorry for the scary face

The masks come in packets of 30 sheets, equaling 30 pairs and should be used twice a week.

Do you like using skin care? How do you look after your skin?

Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion & Black Raspberry Eye Cream

I  bought a large collection from the Skinfood range, a Korean brand. This included eye creams, emulsion creams and bb creams.

I’ve been using the range for a couple of months now and feel that you skin is soft and supple plus the peach sake really minimises my pores.

Skin Food Peach Sake Emulsion

Peach Sake Emulsion
This comes in a really lovely frosted bottle with a cardboard looking screw lid. The style of the bottle looks oriental with and adorable pink packaging. The emulsion is a semi-thick cream that boasts to help regulate sebum and minimise excessive oils. The product does what it says on the tin and I find that it has minimised my pores and that my skin does not look oily in the afternoons. It would have a dewy look but not overly shiny. I found the contents slightly hard to empty into my hand at first but after shaking it a little, find it is rather easy (reminds me of emptying ketchup…) It is very light, easily glides into my skin and smells divine.

Skin Food Black Raspberry Eye Cream

Black Raspberry Eye Cream
This eye cream comes in a very cute mini glass jar with a cardboard looking screw lid and a Japanese style paper wrap on top. The reddish colours compliment the colour of the cream itself and looks adorable.
The cream is supposed to reduce wrinkles and help hydrate your under-eye area.
I found the cream to really hydrate my eyes when I wake up in the morning after applying it before bed. The area is soft and my eyes don’t water to compensate for the lack of moisture. I’m unsure if the anti-wrinkle effect works since I don’t have crows-feet so I’m unable to comment on that.
The cream also has a grassy scent so it may not appeal to everyone but since its not around the nose area and you would only need a small amount on your finger tips I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I also have a few more items from the SkinFood range which I’ve stocked to sell. So stay tuned for some bargains!
